Inv dec = Invisible decrease (Insert hook into the front loop of the next 2 stitches, Yarn over and pull through both front loops, Yarn over and pull through both loops

Notes

Work in a continuous spiral unless stated otherwise. Size will vary due to yarn thickness and hook size. This pattern uses US crochet terminology. For yarn sub, Scheepjes catona works at a similar gauge.

Head

R1: 6 sc into a magic ring. (6)

R2: 2 sc in each st around. (12)

R3: (1 sc into the next sc, 2 sc) 6x around. (18)

R4: (1 sc into the next 2 sc, 2 sc) 6x around. (24)

R5: (1 sc into the next 3 sc, 2 sc) 6x around. (30)

R6: (1 sc into the next 4 sc, 2 sc) 6x around. (36)

R7: (1 sc into the next 5 sc, 2 sc) 6x around. (42)

R8-R11: Sc in each st around. (42)

R12: (1 sc into the next 4 sc, inv dec) 7x around. (35)

Leg 1

Cut yarn and fasten off.

Leg 2

Work as leg 1 to round 8 but do not cut the yarn. Continue with the body.

Do not stuff the legs.

Body

R1: chain 3, 1 sc into each sc of leg 1, chain 3, 1 sc into each sc of leg 2 (18)

R2: 1 sc into each of the 3 chain sts, 1 sc into each of the next 6 sc, 1 sc into each of the 3 chain sts, 1 sc into each of the next 6 sc (18 sc)

R3-R4:: 1sc in each sc (18 sc)

Seam the opening between the legs using whip stitch.

R4-R8: 1sc in each sc (18 sc)

R9: 1 sc into the next 4 sc, inv dec twice, 1 sc into the next 5 sc, inv dec twice, 1 sc into the last st (14)

R10-R11: 1sc in each sc (14 sc)

Slip stitch in the next sc, cut yarn and fasten off leaving a long tail to sew. Stuff the body. Sew the head onto the body.
